Our Staff

Founder

John Dunn

John Dunn began as a plumbing apprentice in 1956 with a local Mordialloc firm – E Groves & Son – for a period of five years.  Upon completion he joined his family horse racing transportation business – CO Dunn Transportation. He continued in this industry until the business was sold and decided it was time to re-establish his plumbing career.

In 1978, he obtained his plumbing license and started his local plumbing business known as Longbeach Plumbing.  The business specialized in domestic roofing, plumbing maintenance and new construction projects.  In 1985 his son, Stewart Dunn, joined the family business to leverage his skills and better his experience in domestic plumbing. The business grew over time and had an increasing clientele of local builders and returning domestic clients.

In 2002, John stepped down as Director and entered into his retirement years.  With the connections John built over the years and his broad knowledge and awareness of the building industry, he went on to develop several home units. Proudly, the business is successfully family operated to this day.
